Vegan Buffalo "Chicken Tenders" made with Oyster mushrooms and an Amazing Vegan Ranch Sauce
This Recipe is Quick & Easy and wonderful dish served as an appetizer.
Vegan Buffalo "Chicken Tenders"
Ingredients
Oyster Mushrooms
Dry
1/2 cup spelt flour
1/2 cup arrow root powder or tapioca flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
Wet
1 cup almond milk
1/2 lemon squeezed
Ranch Dressing Recipe
1 1/2 cups vegan mayo
1/2 tbsp Almond milk
1 tsp lime juice
1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp fresh dill
1/2 tbsp parsley
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tbsp salt or to taste
1-2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tbsp dill (dry)
Directions
First take a small bowl add almond milk and squeezed lemon for your buttermilk.
Now take a big bowl and add your dry ingredients and seasonings mix well.
Take your oyster mushrooms and Pull them Apart.
Add oyster mushrooms to wet batter then toss them in to dry batter bowl make sure they are well coated.
Heat Avocado oil or grapeseed oil to 325 degrees
Fry oyster mushrooms for 3-4 minutes
Take a bowl and the hot sauce or buffalo sauce of your choice and toss oyster mushrooms in bowl. Serve with vegan ranch and some carrots or celery.
