Delicious Buttermilk Waffles: Vegan Breakfast Recipe!"


Ingredients



  • 2 1/4 cups almond milk

  • 1 1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • 6 tablespoon aquafaba

  • 1 1/4 cup spelt flour

  • 1 1/2 cup pastry flour

  • 1/3 cup arrow root powder or tapioca starch

  • 2 tablespoons baking powder

  • 2 tablespoons unrefined cane sugar

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pink salt

  • 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup avocado oil


Directions

  1. Add almond milk and apple cider milk in a small bowl set aside for 15 mins this will make your vegan buttermilk.

  2. Next add dry mixture to a large bowl including flour, salt, baking powder and cane sugar whisk to well blended

  3. Now slowly feed in your buttermilk mixture to dry ingredients

  4. Now add your aquafaba as your egg replacement and your vanilla extract

  5. Once blended add to waffle iron and serve. Waffles should be crispy on the outside but soft moist and fluffy on the inside.

  6. Serve waffles with some fruit and fresh maple syrup and enjoy!!
